Durante el 2002, el Gobierno de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires puso en marcha el Presupuesto Participativo (PP), un proceso de democracia participativa, voluntaria y universal que sirve para el debate, elaboración, control y seguimiento del Presupuesto Anual, del Programa General de Gobierno y del Plan de Inversiones.
Occupy Vancouver, during the occupation of the Vancouver Art Gallery last fall, needed to implement a consensus-based decision making process in order for the encampment to function in a fair and inclusive manner. The General Assembly and it's processes were developed by consensus for this pourpose.
