The UPR Strike of 2010 (or Huelga del 2010 de la Universidad de Puerto Rico began on April 21, 2010 as a 48-hour strike at the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras.
O orçamento participativo de 2009/2010 da cidade de Freiburg na Alemanha, foi uma iniciativa iniciada com um intuito de estabelecer um equilibrio nas contas publicas, ja que ate aquele momento o orcamento estava comprometido, devido ao alto grau de gastos públicos.

However, though New Hampshire was the first state to introduce lotteries, the public is still discussing whether it would be prudent to continue to expand gambling.
Luego de la creacion de la Region de Los Rios y la implementacion de sus nuevas instituciones publicas, se hizo necesaria la elaboracion de este plan estrategico, el principal y primer intrumento de planificacion para esta joven region.
