Problems and Purpose
As part of an effort to open Social Democracy in German for more participation, the federal party invited the internet public to co-write part of their basic statement on Digital Society.
The results would become part of the party platform, subject to approval through the Federal Congress of SPD.
Originating Entities and Funding
The effort is sponsored by SPD, one of the two big parties in Germany. It uses Adhocracy, a technology developed by Liquid Democracy.
Anybody could self-select to take part in the discussion. It was published through the general website of SPD.
