Alessandro Mengozzi graduated in Political Sciences from the University of Bologna. He obtained an MA in Social Geography and Participatory Methods, and a PhD in History and Geography of Europe at the University of Bologna before working there and in regional authorities as contract researcher since 2008. At the moment he is lecturer at IULM in Milan.
His interests concern theoretical geographical spatialisation models, governance issues, participatory democracy and methods, human cartography, participatory mapping and GIS.
