    Patience is a youth and women advocate with over seven years of proven track record in programme management and visionary leadership working on various development initiatives across English and French Cameroons. She has serve on several youth development platforms including the Cameroon National Youth Council. She supports the development, implementation and evaluation of women and youth-friendly policies and programmes. She is keen on strengthening the leadership and technical skills of youth leaders for their effective integration in the management of municipal councils. She specifically addresses their effective involvement in designing, planning, implementation and evaluation of public investment projects. In 2013, Patience founded the Research and Advocacy for Gender Justice (RAGJ) project with aim to increase the strategic and active participation of young women in decision making. This initiative has as objective to strategically engage young women in research on laws, policies and public operations such decentralisation processes, public investment projects, national budgetary allocations, public procurement procedures and sustainable poverty reduction strategies amongst other concerns. Also, it encourages young women to initiate informed positive change and innovation for sustainable economic development. Furthermore, it encourages young women to nurse values of openness, transparency and accountability in their everyday actions, thereby improving their ability to demand for open and transparent governance at all levels of decision making.
