Biography:
Graham Smith is Professor of Politics in the Centre for the Study of Democracy at the University of Westminster (UK). He is author of a number of books, articles and reports on democratic theory and practice, including Democratic Innovations: Designing Institutions for Citizen Participation (Cambridge University Press, 2009) and Beyond the Ballot (Power Inquiry 2005). He is a member of the steering commitee for Participedia.
