Biography:
Robert C. Richards, Jr., JD, MSLIS, MA, BA, is a Ph.D. student in the Pennsylvania State University Department of Communication Arts and Sciences. He studies legal information and communication systems, with an emphasis on citizens' legal communication about proposed laws in direct-democracy and deliberative-democratic contexts. He uses qualitative and quantitative methods. Professor Dr. John Gastil is his advisor. He blogs at Legal Informatics Blog, and maintains Legal Information Systems and Legal Informatics Resources.
