The Yukon Citizens' Assembly on Election Reform is currently being established as a new representative body of Yukoners. This case is ongoing, but the assembly will ultimately provide a recommendation for if Yukon should keep its current electoral system or adopt another model.

Participant Recruitment and Selection
The membership will consist of up to two individuals from each of Yukon's 19 electoral districts. They will be randomly selected from a pool of 1,793 respondents who declared their willingness to participate on a census of all Yukon residents aged 16 and over conducted by the Yukon Bureau of Statistics.
