A deliberative body was established to collectively discuss and review policy recommendations on a plan to work on how Rouen could adapt to climatic and health risks. 30 diverse residents will engage with the latest expert knowledge and research between January and March 2022.

Problems and Purpose

The municipality is setting up a citizens' convention. Participants will work on adapting the city to risks posed by climate, health and industry.

Rouen citizen assembly will bring together around thirty inhabitants drawn by lot and representing the diversity of the territory.

What Went On: Process, Interaction, and Participation

A work of anticipation and projection fed by the hearing of experts who will take stock of the existing solutions in the event of major risks and on the avenues of reflection in progress.    

Influence, Outcomes, and Effects

At the end of these three sessions, the citizens' convention will provide elected officials with a report containing proposals and recommendations.
