Mission
At Dreamocracy, our mission is to radically renew democratic governance. To do so, we help ignite the collective creativity of teams, public authorities, and civil society organizations in order to envision brighter futures, reshape public discourse, and revolutionize governance and policies.
Why Dreamocracy?
People and communities need the skills to imagine a desirable future and devise innovative solutions and narratives to get there. Call it dreaming together. This is particularly needed as societies’ potential to address public problems suffer from polarisation and a lack of positive aspirations and collective meaning.
Currently, democracy is in fact at risk. People are dissatisfied with representative democracy as we know it. They are willing to consider non-democratic forms of government as possible alternatives. And we see the rise in populist parties, anti-system movements and demagogues.
A consultancy and a non-profit charity
Dreamocracy is a consultancy that fosters collective creativity for the common good through analysis, advice to organisations, and by developing and implementing innovative stakeholder management processes. Our unique experience is at the intersection of public affairs / policy making and collective intelligence / creativity.
Smarter Together is the non-profit charity affiliated to Dreamocracy that is dedicated to the study, development and experimentation of democratic innovations and collective movements. Whenever possible, we contribute pro-bono.
Who we are
Our consultants have from 1 to 30 years experience each, in the public and private sectors, at senior and street level. What unites us and what makes us stand out is that our key areas of competence revolve for each one of us around policy making and collective creativity.
