Jon Stever is leading on the development of new methodologies to engage local communities in national and regional policy design. Jon facilitated the co-creation of the Africa Innovation Policy Manifesto, is a catalyst of the #i4Policy movement, and is the co-founder and CEO of the Innovation for Policy Foundation. He is also the co-Founder and Managing Director of Impact Hub Kigali, a community innovation hub in Rwanda.

Jon began his career in the development non-governmental organization sector supporting the Multilateral Debt Relief Initiative and then as an ODI Fellow and Macroeconomist for the Rwandan Ministry of Finance. He combines the experience of working for governments, the private sector, civil society, and international organizations with being an artist, community builder, entrepreneur and trainer in the innovation ecosystem. Jon serves in a number of advisory roles, such as on the Scientific Committee for We, The Internet and as a member of the African Union Commission and European Commission's Digital Economy Task Force.
