Mr. Bhumi Raj Chapagain has over one and half-decade long experience in media management, broadcast journalism, organization development, training/facilitation, and media research. He served about one decade in Community Radio Vijaya FM, and has been serving for Association of Community Radio Broadcasters as a Audit Committee Coordinator. In addition, he has different experiences of local, cluster based and National Opinion Surveys working with various NGO's and INGOs in multiple thematic areas. Besides this, he has additional skills and experiences on Organization Development, Monitoring & Evaluation, participatory action research, assets-based community development/Community Resource Mapping, strategic advocacy planning, communication and social media. Further, he has about 7 years of teaching experience at University particularly social justice, research methodology, population studies, migration-urbanization and development and mass communication & journalism studies. He is a co-founder and Manager of Sharecast Initiative Nepal.

Mr. Chapagain has completed master's degree in Population and development studies from Tribhuwan University. He completed diploma in development leadership course from St. Francis Xavier University/Coady International Institute, Canada, completed Broadcast Management course from Radio Netherlands Training Center (RNTC) Netherlands. He is pursuing Ph.D. on "Role of local radios in promoting local culture in Nepal" from NSU-Nepal.
