Center for Innovation, Democracy, and Sustainability (CIDS) is a organzation based in Taipei, Taiwan, dedicated to researching and communicating complex socio-technical controversial issues. CIDS has developed a unique portfolio of democratic infrastructures based on long-term engagement with Taiwan's environmental justice and energy transition landscapes.

These include Negotiation Theater, Travel camp and Issue toolbox, which have been used in contexts such as nuclear waste siting, geothermal energy development, and petrochemical transition. Across these domains, CIDS integrates Science and Technology Studies (STS), participatory design, and community engagement to build learning environments where diverse actors can collectively interrogate socio-technical controversies and envision alternative governance pathways.
