What Went On: Process, Interaction, and Participation

Residents and members of the community were highly involved in developing the new policy. A citizens’ panel provided valuable guidance. Convened in November 2014 in collaboration with the University of Sydney, he panel met over two-and-a-half days, giving the City the opportunity for in-depth conversation with residents to hear their concerns about climate change risks and their priorities for action.

Influence, Outcomes, and Effects

The panel provided a set of overarching principles and identified and prioritised risks and adaptation actions adopted throughout the risk and actions in the strategy.
