In 2017, Brno became the first city in the Czech Republic to introduce PB municipal level. The initiative gives citizens say over CZK 35 million (approx. USD $1.4k) to fund at least 11 projects. PB is just one facet of the ‘Smart Brno’ initiative to support citizen engagement.
