Problems and Purpose

The Hornet’s Nest (Span. El Avispero) is a platform that promotes initiatives and campaigns that foster citizen leadership and effective civil society coordination. Since 2016 they have supported causes that seek to generate concrete transformations for the construction of peace in Colombia. This initiative is a project of Movilizatorio, which through its social and digital platform, seeks to connect, organize and mobilize citizens. It is possible to participate by proposing new campaigns, joining the proposals of other people or organizations, signing petitions, and sharing messages that inspire and promote actions for change. Some of the campaigns with the greatest impact have become part of the agendas of different state entities. To date, the Hornet’s Nest has brought together more than 9,000 people, including leaders from 17 Colombian cities and 18 cities abroad.
