The European Town Meeting on Climate Change was a mini-public supported by Tuscany Region, Cornellà de Llobregat and Poitiers. The town meeting was held in five Tuscany cities and two other cities; in total, 600 young citizens from the 8 cities were selected.
Problems and Purpose
The main issue at stake was climate change and the actions to prevent it.

Participant Recruitment and Selection
Participatnts were selected at minimum if they reside in one of the three regions (Tuscany, Poitou-Charentes, Catalonia) and if they were under 30 (3.69% of the participants were over 30).

The town meeting was held in five Tuscany cities and two other cities, one located in Spain (Cornellà de Lobregat) and one in France (Poitiers). The event also included two virtual roundtables composed of young citizens from around Europe.
