The Participatory Budgeting Project is a non-profit organization that assists in implementing participatory budgeting initiatives to engage citizens in the deliberative processes of allocating public resources.

Mission and Purpose

The Participatory Budgeting Project, or PBP, "is a non-profit organization that empowers people to decide together how to spend public money, primarily in the US and Canada."[1] They "create and support participatory budgeting processes that deepen democracy, build stronger communities, and make public budgets more equitable and effective."[1]
