InnovaLab is a social innovation lab created in 2020 by Participación Ciudadana, the Technological Institute of the Americas and the Dominican Chamber for Information and Communication Technologies to enable public participation in creating policy solutions to a range of issues.
Mission and Purpose
InnovaLab is a social innovation laboratory which hosts and coordinates collaborative spaces in which citizens participate in the development and prototyping of policy solutions related to Human Rights, security, environment, electoral policies, justice and governance.
Origins and Development
InnovaLab was created in 2020 in the Dominican Republic by the civil society organization, Participación Ciudadana; the Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA); and the Dominican Chamber for the Information and Communication Technologies (Cámara TIC).
