A web tool which enables remote deliberation and aims to facilitate balanced and efficient discussions in order to improve public participation.

Problems and Purpose

Turnómetro is a web tool that augments and enhances the deliberative quality of the face-to-face interactions that remain essential to politics. The app allows user to be present, to sustain attention and empower those physically present while at the same time facilitating remote participation.

Background History and Context

This project was prototyped during the Collective Intelligence for Democracy workshop at MediaLab Prado. It comes out of 3 years of experimentation at Wikipolitica.
