The Executive Tables for Exterior Commerce were a deliberative exercise between the national government of Costa Rica and the private sector to coordinate actions regarding challenges emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Problems and Purpose

The initiative was a deliberative exercise between the national government of Costa Rica and the private sector to coordinate actions on emerging challenges in the sector during the COVID-19 pandemic. Convened by the authorities of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the Foreign Trade Promoter, and the Costa Rican Coalition of Development Initiatives, 10 business chambers held a virtual meeting to identify current and potential impacts on the sector derived from the pandemic.
