A citizen's initiative review was held in August 2014 to deliberate on proposed ballot measure 92 on GMO labeling. 11 of the 20 panelists in the CIR opposed the measure where the remaining 9 favored it. Measure 92 itself would be defeated at vote, by only a very small margin.
